KCAL DESCRIPTION

The Kansas Center for Assisted Living (KCAL) is an affiliate of the Kansas Health Care Association (KHCA) and the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL). KCAL offers specific services at the state level for both for-profit and not-for-profit assisted living/residential health care facilities (AL/RHC).

KCAL's advocacy includes the sponsorship of bills that can benefit the AL/RHC profession, meetings with the state agency personnel that set AL/RHC policy and monitoring of legislation that could affect facilities.
